The new eligibility criteria has been announced for admission to medical (MBBS) and dentistry ( BDS) colleges were released by Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) on Thursday.
Candidates having 60% in their intermediate exams will be able to apply to medical and dentistry colleges, the commission announced in a notification.
Students can apply for admission to the MBBS programme with a score of 55%, and to the BDS programme with a score of 45%. Before it was 65% for MBBS & 60% for BDS.
The MDCAT 2022 exam, which was originally slated to take place in September or October 2022, has been postponed until further notice.
The letter stated that “New schedule/dates will be announced on PMC website.”
To assist all students who were unable to register before, the MDCAT 2022 registration portal will reopen from September 10 to 25.
