Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Shahbaz Sharif has denotified all members of Pakistan Medical Comission ( PMC).
Pakistan Medical Comission ( PMC ) which was previously named as Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. It was established 3 years ago by PTI Govt of Pakistan. It is statuary regularity authority which maintains the official register of medical practitioner.
Its main purpose is to ensure uniform minimum standards of basic and higher certifications in medicine and dentistry throughout Pakistan by regulating entrance to the PMC registry of medical practitioners within Pakistan and suspending or expelling members as necessary. Along with the Higher Education Commission, it also establishes the educational requirements for medical colleges in Pakistan.
