UNDERGRADUATE SEMESTER EXCHANGE PROGRAM FOR PAKISTAN

UNDERGRADUATE SEMESTER EXCHANGE PROGRAM FOR PAKISTAN

The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the US Department of State introduced the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program – Pakistan (Global UGRAD-Pakistan) in 2010. The International Research & Exchanges Board in the United States and the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) respectively oversee the administration of the programme in Pakistan (IREX).

The Global UGRAD has been tremendously popular among Pakistani university students in a short period of time. The initial group of 100 fellows from the Global UGRAD-Pakistan programme in 2010–11 returned to Pakistan to finish their undergraduate studies at Pakistani universities.
