ABOUT POST:

Aslam o Alaikum dear readers as you all know pandemic conditions of covid-19 educational institutions like school & college was closed for a complete year. Schools & colleges were open only for 2,3 month due to which students wasn’t ready to take exam 2021. Government of Pakistan was decided to take elective subjects exam only from classes of 9th,10th,  11th & 12th classes. Government was decided compulsory subjects marks will be awarded according elective subject marks. During recently meeting NCOC federal education ministry Shafqat Mehmood announced that 5% extra marks also will be awarded to compulsory subjects. I get many queries from my blog readers, social media platforms like Facebook, twitter,, WhatsApp groups about calculations of Marks… Now I’m here to explain how your marks will be calculated.

INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS MARKS CALCULATIONS

Keep in mind this year only elective subjects exams was held & compulsory subjects marks will be calculated according elective subjects marks. So first of all I collecting elective subject marks.

MARKS CALCULATIONS OF PART 2

FOR ELECTIVE SUBJECTS

SUBJECT 1 BIOLOGY : If student get 80 marks in theory exam.

       Exam marks = 80/85

      Practical Marks= 80÷85 ×15 = 14.11~ 14

Note : it was announced that practical marks will be calculated according theory marks.

Subject Marks =Theory Exam marks + Practical marks

= 80 out of 85 + 14 out of 15 = 94/100

Total subject marks are 94/100.

SUBJECT 2 CHEMISTRY : If student get 82 marks in theory exam.

       Exam marks = 82/85

      Practical Marks= 82÷85 ×15 = 14.47~ 14

Note : it was announced that practical marks will be calculated according theory marks.

Subject Marks =Theory Exam marks + Practical marks

= 82 out of 85 + 14 out of 15 = 96/100

Total subject marks are 96/100.

SUBJECT 3 PHYSICS : If student get 78 marks in theory exam.

       Exam marks = 78/85

      Practical Marks= 78÷85 ×15 = 13.77~ 14

Note : it was announced that practical marks will be calculated according theory marks.

Subject Marks =Theory Exam marks + Practical marks

= 78 out of 85 + 14 out of 15 = 92/100

Total subject marks are 92/100.

TOTAL ELECTIVE SUBJECT MARKS = 94/100 + 96/100 + 92/100

= 282/300

FOR COMPULSORY SUBJECT MARKS CALCULATIONS :

As government policy average marks percentage of elective subject given to the compulsory subjects marks. So first of all we take average of elective subjects.

Average Elective subject = Total marks obtained divided by Total number of subjects.

Average marks = 282/3 = 94% so it is the average of elective subjects. Now I’m going to explain compulsory subjects calculations.

Formula : Total subject marks divided by 100 than multiply average marks percentage of elective.

Subject 1 ENGLISH = 100/100 × 94 = 94

Total subject 1 marks = 94/100

Subject 2 URDU= 100/100 × 94 = 94

Total subject 2 marks = 94/100

Subject 3 PAK STUDIES = 50/100 × 94 = 47

Total subject 3 marks = 47/50

TOTAL COMPULSORY SUBJECTS MARKS = 94/100 + 94/100 + 47/ 50

= 235/250

Now I’m going to explain how calculated 5% extra marks for compulsory subjects .

5% Extra marks = 235/250 × 5 = 4.7 ~ 5 marks

Now, 235 + 5 /250 = 240/250

CALCULATIONS OF COMPLETE PART 2 MARKS

TOTAL MARKS OF STUDENT = Elective subject marks + compulsory subjects marks

= 282/300 + 240/ 250 = 522/550

So here’s the total marks gained by student in Part 2 results .

CALCULATIONS OF PART 1 SUBJECT MARKS

According to the Government policy student marks gained in part 2 same marks will be awarded to Part 1.

Total marks = 522/550 + 522/550 = 1044/1100

Here’s 1044/1100 students total marks of Inter Part 1 & 2.

NOTE : 5% extra compulsory subjects marks only for Punjab Board students.
